Patrick & Erin | Frankfort, KY Wedding

Oh how I loved this wedding! Fantastic couple, beautiful weather, fun wedding party, great venues…Need I say more? This was my first time to visit Frankfort and the downtown area is so charming!

I met Erin a few years ago when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot. She is so cheerful and has the most contagious smile! I had never met Patrick in person but had heard so many good things about him through my sister-in-law.  When I finally got to see these two together, I could tell they were perfect for each other. They didn’t stop smiling all day.

After the First Look and a few wedding party photos, we went to Buffalo Trace where the reception would be later that night. The grounds there are beautiful, so we took full advantage before the ceremony back at the church.

GORGEOUS!

The girls wrote on their hands so they could share a message with Patrick as they walked down the aisle. Such a fun idea!

Sweet moment with Erin and her dad before she walked down the aisle.

Since their last name is Jump, we thought this was appropriate!

Her parents sure could dance!!

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Jump!

Lindsey & Ryan | Murray, KY Engagements

I’ve known Lindsey for almost five years and I’m so excited to shoot her wedding in Nashville this October. Ryan & Lindsey met on Murray State’s campus so they drove in to good ole’ Murray for their session.

How it all started is actually a funny story. They were students in the same department and knew each other in passing from spending so much time in the same building. Ryan asked Lindsey to go for ice cream over and over, but since she was dating someone else, she always replied with a “no.” Then at the end of a semester everything changed, Ryan asked one more time, and Lindsey said “yes!” A few days later, Ryan graduated and moved to Huntsville, AL and they’ve been in a long distance relationship ever since.

Since Lindsey loves ice cream and she finally gave in and went on a DQ date with Ryan after a year of asking…we had to stop by for some pics!

Jeremy & Alex | Murray, KY Wedding

Jeremy & Alex got married on St. Patrick’s day and had a beautiful green and purple wedding in a small country church on the outskirts of Murray. We have a lot of mutual friends and I had met Jeremy a several times a few years ago. I heard through the grapevine they were engaged, and it wasn’t too long after their engagement that they contacted me. I also heard through the grapevine that Jeremy knew Alex was the one right after meeting her at church one Sunday. I would totally believe it after spending time with them during their engagement session and their wedding day. They didn’t see one another before the ceremony and it was precious to watch their anxiety build over time. When we finally reached time for pics of the two of them, they were so relaxed and excited. She can make one silly face at him and he smiles ear to ear. Between her  laugh that is contagious and his calm spirit, they make the perfect couple!

I love how her bridesmaids signed the bottom of her shoes in blue!

Since they didn’t see one another before the ceremony, they had a time of prayer beforehand. I think this is one of the most special moments of the entire day! I love her big smile as she came down the steps to come talk to him (above).

They had all their guests sign small squares of fabric that will later be made into a quilt! I love crafty ideas like that:)

They died the guys socks…so the wedding party  all rocked green and/or purple on their feet!

One day this little guy will love being hugged on by pretty girls!!

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Jenkins! It was an honor to spend your day with you! Hope you had fun in Aruba!!

Todd & Maggie | Clarksville, TN Wedding

This couple and their wedding party were great! Maggie is friends with a bride of mine from a few years ago. I didn’t get to meet her before the wedding day, so I was feeling a little anxious (as usual). However, upon my arrival she was organized and ready to get into her dress and see her groom! Todd and Maggie have been together for about a year and a half and they are totally in love. They were relaxed all day and excited to be together with their friends and family. Needless to say, everything went smooth, the weather was gorgeous, and we all had fun!

My amazing friend and fellow photographer, Dianne, with Dianne Lisette Photography came along with me to second shoot. I’m so glad she was along for the ride. Give her some props for some of her awesome photos too!

Jessica & Brent | Paducah Engagements

Jessica and Brent are getting married this coming September in Gulf Shores. Her cousin is shooting her wedding, but they needed some engagements done at home. They spend a lot of time in downtown Paducah, so they chose to do their session there. These two have been together for SIX years, so it’s definitely time for a wedding!

They brought their dog, Bella, along for some pics. She did a good job!

Congrats Jessica and Brent! Thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey. I had fun with you guys! Hope your wedding in Gulf Shores is amazing!
