Seth & Rachel got married in Benton at First Missionary Baptist where Seth works and they both attend. They were surrounded by their families and dearest friends so it was such a special day! I realized how much these two loved each other when I did their engagements, so I was looking forward to spending their wedding day with them. Mark Whitt, (a very good friend of mine) who is their campus minister, did their ceremony and he started out by saying Seth & Rachel love each other with a deep love…I thought he described them perfectly. Seth is crazy about Rachel and knew from the first time he spent time with her that he was going to marry her. Rachel brings joy and laughter to any room, so she is always making Seth smile. Their story is such a sweet one and I’m so honored to capture their wedding day which is just another step in the journey! Plus, I got to spend time with the Waldrop family again since I had just shot his sister’s wedding two weekends before!
Rachel wore her grandmother’s pearls and it was a tear-jerker moment when her mom put them on.
