This was a fun shoot! I met with Elizabeth just a few weeks ago to book her April wedding. We decided to do her engagements as soon as we could while it was still fall. We woke up that morning to a thick fog and the closer I got to Paducah, the worse it looked. But, by the time we arrived and began shooting, the fog lifted and it was all ok!.jpg)

Elizabeth & Ryan began dating while we was a senior in high school, but it was a long distance relationship since Ryan lived in St. Louis. When it came time for them to decide on college, he moved to good ol’ Murray State to be with her.

When Ryan decided it was time to pop the big question, he put a lot of thought into how he would do it. While Elizabeth was doing her student teaching, he made a plan. One day while she was in the classroom, he snuck a note to one of her students. The little boy walked up to her and gave her a note that said “Will you marry me? Check yes or no.” Elizabeth was confused, until Ryan walked though the door, dressed in a suit, and got down on one knee! How precious!!!
Elizabeth is now a elementary school teacher working at the same school where Ryan proposed. But she also works at Willow Pond on the weekends, a place where she has worked since high school. So, we though the movie showing at Maiden Alley was fitting!!

Congrats Ryan & Elizabeth! Can’t wait until your big day in April! I know it will be a blast!
