Obviously they’re huge Murray State fans (woot woot!). They even entered their reception to the Racer fight song!

I love it when the father/daughter dance is fun and unique! He surprised her with some moves to “My Girl”.

This CUTE country church is where Candace and her family go. Don’t you love it?!? Their day was totally relaxed and full of smiles. It was a great way to start off the year!

Candace’s mom put everyone into tears when she brought Candace her last Easter basket. There was a UK swimsuit inside for their Florida honeymoon.

Since we don’t have much time until their wedding, we did their engagements last weekend. It was pretty cold and windy…but that just meant they got to cuddle a whole lot! Rachel expressed she doesn’t like having her picture taken and was pretty nervous at first. But by the end of the session, she was having a lot of fun. That’s just one reason why I love my job

We started at Morgan Elementary since that’s where these two love birds met while teaching there about six years ago. They reminisced as we walked down the halls, which was really cute. Then, we headed downtown for the rest of the session. I hope these two had as much fun as I did!

The fun thing about shooting downtown is the crazy people that like to jump in the photos! These two were showing Rachel & Michael how they should pose!

Rachel works at the Carson Center, which is where their reception will be held. We didn’t have a sign for their date, so I told them to just to use their fingers! 4/6…it’ s getting close!

I’m so humbled and honored that my work has been published in Kentucky Bride Magazine. My fabulous couple, Dirk & Anna, had an amazing wedding last May. It was simple, southern, yet very unique. I’m excited to see my work in print and I’m excited that Anna & Dirk have another way to remember their wedding.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me along the way and helped me believe in myself. I’m truly blessed!

Even Raleigh likes the magazine

Graham & Terah’s first look was so sweet. Graham isn’t a huge fan of having his photo taken…but the moment he saw Terah he forgot we were there and smiled from ear to ear! It was a pretty cold day, so they snuggled together a lot, which made my job super easy! I had my great friend, Dianne, second shooting with me…whom you’ve met…remember her? She runs Dianne Lisette Photography and we tag teamed two weddings that weekend. By Sunday neither of us could move since we were so tired and sore…but it was totally worth it and like I said, a great way to end my year!

Congrats Graham & Terah! Thank you for being so great and in love. You made my heart smile all day!

AH-MAZING cake! I took a ridiculous amont of photos of it because it was so gorgeous!

At each seat, they placed these cards which held a snowflake cookie cutter with a recipe to make home made cookies! Such a cute idea!

This lady was so excited to announce all the single guys and ladies for the tosses! 

Terah’s new niece was so cute!

 Ann graduated from MSU today, so now she is ready to start working really hard on planning their June wedding. I can’t wait!

My dear friend, Lindsey, texted me as soon as her twin sister started wedding planning. Lindsey was so helpful since she just got married last July. The Becker family sure knows how to throw a party!

Henry & Megan are so sweet together. They’ve been together for several years and everyone has been waiting for a wedding. I love the way she looks at him…it’s obvious how much she loves him. And, when she gives him that look it puts a big smile on his face! I love seeing that between two people. It’s the best thing about my job!

He is the sweetest dad! At both Megan & Lindsey’s weddings, he came out to find us so he could see how pretty they were.

Joe and Anner have known each other since they were young, but they didn’t start dating until a few years ago. I loved their emotions they expressed all day; lots of laughter and many tears. Anner is bubbly and laughs a lot and Joe is the calm to their relationship who loves her with a deep love.  They were so natural in front of the camera…and photogenic as well!

She can work it! Anner–you’re gorgeous!

Since they both love old cars, we started the shoot at her friend’s car shop which was surrounded by old cars that have been restored, which were amazing and just old rusty cars, which were cool too! Then we went to the Fox Briar Farm Inn. I had never been to this place, but it is gorgeous and gave such a cool backdrop for the other half of their photos! (If you need a little get away in Paducah, go check this place out!)

These two were great and I can’t wait for their April wedding!
